This print is part of a limited edition of 50 of the piece ‘Islands’ created by the artist in 2021.
The original piece was completed in oil and spray paint on canvas and is 70x70cm and is available here
The colours in the piece were inspired by Bobbie's geography background and represent tropical islands.
This artwork really pushed the boundaries of the oil paint, and using the handmade canvas Bobbie was able to explore the textures created with the paint. Incorporating the spray paint bought a great metallic shine to the work and a great contrast against the dark blue.
